Skullcandy Reinforces Their Product Integrity With the Hiring of Vance Lommen

PARK CITY, Utah, Aug. 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Skullcandy, Inc. (Nasdaq:SKUL), a leading performance lifestyle audio brand, today announced the hiring of Vance Lommen as the Director of Brand Protection and Intellectual Property Enforcement.

Vance Lommen comes to Skullcandy with over 30 years in the business of corporate protection. Most recently, Mr. Lommen assembled a handpicked team of experts to form Vanangians, LLC, a security firm where he serves as Founder and CEO.

In his tenure, Mr. Lommen also established industry-leading brand protection systems for Oakley and Luxottica Group, as well as working as a consultant for Skullcandy. In his new full-time role at Skullcandy, Mr. Lommen will be responsible for the integrity of all Skullcandy product and intellectual property enforcement as well as investigation of fraud and counterfeiting throughout the global marketplace.
